Order of titles - explanation

The order of titles tend to come in a specific order however they do always vary depending on the film and many other things. But for example with the movie 'The Roomate' the following order of titles were used:

1. Distributor title name such as the logo in this case it was Green Gems
2. The production company ident then follows - Vertigo Entertainment
3. Film Title - The Roommate
4. Stars names someties come in the order that they appear or sometimes in alphabetically order
5. The crew - casting, costume, editors, music, producer, written by and many more
6. The Director - Christian E. Christiansen
