My part for the pitch was to find out more about our audience research. I research more about thrillers and found out that thrillers are mostly associated with older teens as they demand intense thought about usually psychological story lines. Also that thrillers usually include scenes of violence, drugs, and psychological issues.The ways we were going to try and interest the teenage audience is by making the characters our age and setting the movie in college so it is in an environment that teenagers feel familiar with and include people they may be able to relate to.
The themes of the film will includes things that the audience will be able to relate to as well such as teenage crushes although will be taken to a new level as we still have to stick to the sub-genre of thriller.
