First day of filming

We knew what we were doing as planned it well in advance. What we needed to film during the holidays was the part of the opening that could not be done in college, the scene in the main girls bedroom. 

At first we planned to film in Rachel's bedroom as she is the main girl so it would make sense to film in her room but unfortunately she had unexpected guests at her house that day so we had to quickly change the plans to see who's house was available to film in. Mine was so I told both my filming partners how to get there and once they were we began to get to work. 

As the main character is obsessed with the boy from college we had to gather some pictures of him from social networking sites to then print them off, cut them out and stick the on the wall. We then got the magazine and newspapers that we had collected and started ripping out pictures of anything that you would assume would be easy to get obsessed over e.g beauty. Once everything was up on the wall we vandalized some one the pictures to make it look like she was going "crazy". 

To add to the mise en scene of her bedroom we each brought props associated with danger and sprawled them across the bed e.g scissors, pills, pins, matches and knifes. Rachel was in a onsie to show she was at home and comfortable. We also decided to lay a trail of candles to lead up to the bed as the create an aerie atmosphere. 

All we had to do by then was the actual filming.
