Teen Film Opening - Draft Feedback

On Monday, our teacher gave us feedback on our draft of our teen film opening. It was generally positive, however we needed to vary the shots to add variety. They suggested putting in extreme close-ups to show facial expressions more. We could do this for the main character, as it would work well best with portraying her emotions and feelings when at college. We also need to vary our camera angles more.

Positive feedback:

- The slow-motion scenes worked well with emphasising a significant part of a scene i.e. when the main character's crush sits down next to her.
- The black and white fuzzy effect was effective, giving the scene a sense of serialism
(however it was suggested that we put a black outline on the fantasy like scenes, to make it appear more dream-like).
