Editing in class

In todays lesson we planned to continue editing but this is not what happened. We watched through the clips that we had filmed last lesson. We then realised again that another group was filming in the background and that in again didnt look right for there to be a big camera in the background of out film.We wanted to quickly re-film the one part that we needed but we were not in the right clothes so it wouldn't fit in with the film so decided to record the voice over for the opening. We hadn't planned to do this so had nothing prepared but i though it best to watch the opening a few times and quickly come up witch a monologue for the main character to say. I then wrote a short paragraphy on solanges phone (which she has posted). Rachel and I then went to get a camera to record this, after searching for an empty room we finally found one. we then went in and closed the door so that no outside noise would come in. Rachel read through the paragraph then said it aloud fo me to record. we did this a few time so that she could truly get into characer. I assisted her with this but telling her to stress on curtain words and pause between some for dramatic effect. I told her to lower her voice and slow down when talking so we could understand what she was saying. We wanted her to sound more sinister and a little bit haunting.
