Editing after lesson

After everyone had gone home after thursdays lesson I thought it would be a good idea to stay behind and see if I could get started with editing the clips that we had. I pulled all of them into final cut pro and sorted the clips from what we shot  in and out of college. I havent used final cut pro many times so was still unsure of how to do everything I wanted to. I wanted to use slow motion on curtain parts of the film but didn't know how to so went onto youtube and searched how to do this, they were very helpful but I unfortunately couldn't understand the persons accent so didn't find out how to do this. I then just worked on making sure everything went in order and fit well with each other. When doing this i realised that one of the shot that we had re-filmed had not recorded properly. The camera was film when we thought it was of which means that the footage was not recorded. This meant that we had to film once again but the lesson was overr so the group had gone home. I told the group before the next lesson what had happened and so to wear the same clothes as in the film to shot in the next lesson.
