Q1. Forms and Conventions of Teen Films in "Bleeding In Love" By Harrison Parker
In our teen film opening, we incorporated typical teen film forms and conventions to make it live up to that genre.
Here are some examples:
Setting: College
Many teen films are set in a high school/college. This is the case as teens spend the a lot of their time at college.

Theme: Obsession
Obsession is a common theme in teen films, maybe not as common as themes like; alcohol, crime, etc - but it's certainly an interesting one.

Evaluation Question 2
Representation in this case means the way that the character is shown or portrayed in the film to give the audience an insight to what the character is like without necessarily knowing them.
I represented these characters in my film in many different ways:
-Rachel (main character): for Rachel we used dim lighting in the bedroom to show that she was in a dark mind set and slightly dangerous. Her clothing was all black as to fade into the background and we used a slight high angle on the camera to make her look smaller to the audience.
Harrison (the heartthrob): we showed him to be a normal teenage boy, his clothing was colorful but casual and to smile in the scenes to show friendliness.
-Solange (the girlfriend): she was represented to be a pretty and popular girl that had the perfect boyfriend. We showed the was bitchy in the way that she completely ignored Rachel.
